AMCA International is an international non-profit organization that specializes in “rating certification” for air movement and control systems. It is headquartered in North America and has operations in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and Latin America. It is a global association with over 380 member companies in 37 countries.
Founded in 1917, AMCA’s mission is to represent its global members in advancing air system knowledge and maintaining industry integrity. One of AMCA’s most important programs is the AMCA Certified Ratings Program, which covers over 4,000 products from nearly 275 manufacturers. Other services provided by AMCA include compliance verification, standards development, and advocacy for model codes, regulations, and utility incentive programs to improve efficiency and life safety.
